Welcome to my creative world! I am an author and illustrator with a deep passion for storytelling and visual arts. My work delves into themes of empowerment, resilience, and the often-overlooked narratives of women in the arts and society.
After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in illustration, I embarked on a career as a graphic designer and illustrator for various companies. It wasn't until the birth of my daughter that I reconnected with picture books. Like rediscovering a long-lost friend, memories of the books I cherished as a child came flooding back. I began reading these beloved stories to my daughter and discovered many new ones that captivated me. This rekindled my love for the marvelous blend of writing and art.
I have published three books as both author and illustrator. My debut book was released in 2021, my second book released in February 2025 and my third published in March 2026. Additionally, I have illustrated five picture books authored by others.
During my school visits, the most common question I receive is about how long I've been creating art. The truth is, I've been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. As a child, my favorite subjects to draw were people, and that passion has remained unchanged.
Recently, I received an email from a parent who read one of the books I illustrated to her child. She shared that her child pointed out and appreciated the artwork. While professional reviews are always gratifying, this personal feedback truly made my day.
